Though her storefront only opened five months ago, Katy’s passion for baking started decades earlier in her grandmother’s kitchen, where pie crusts were rolled out by hand and cupcakes were decorated with love (and sprinkles, of course). That same heart-centered energy fills her shop today, and the community has responded with open arms—and hungry stomachs.
“I always knew I wanted to create something that made people feel that same kind of joy I felt baking as a kid,” Katy shares. “That’s where the name came from—I want to sprinkle joy into people’s lives, one treat at a time.”

That philosophy extends to her growing lineup of vegan offerings, which Katy proudly developed to serve friends, family, and customers who live plant-based lifestyles. Her vegan chocolate peanut butter cupcake is already a bestseller, with customers saying they can’t even tell it’s dairy-free.

A big part of Katy’s mission is to give back to the community that raised her. Having grown up in Hampton, she finds deep joy in reconnecting with familiar faces and supporting local events.
“It’s surreal,” she says. “Some of the people who came to my Girl Scout cookie booth as a kid are now coming in to buy cupcakes for their grandkids.”
