Chrysler Museum's Community Cookout: A Celebration of Culture
The Chrysler Museum of Art in Norfolk, Virginia, is stepping up as a cultural hub this Sunday, June 8, hosting a free community cookout that not only tantalizes the taste buds but also nourishes the soul. An especially exciting component of the event will be two screenings at the Kaufman Theater, showing a special selection of short films created by Black filmmakers at 12:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. These films aim to highlight underrepresented voices, offering a perspective that resonates with many in Southeastern Virginia.

Guests can indulge in a variety of local bites offered by a food truck, along with interactive lawn games and a food demonstration by Atumpan, combining culinary craft with community bonding.
